Walking With a New Camera
I got a new camera for Christmas, smaller than my Canon 5D and one I can put in my pocket and always bring along when I go somewhere, just like I used to do before I started working as a photographer. So please be indulgent with me and don’t get too bored by this avalanche of photos. Thank You!

Gorgeous Ilva I so love my point and shoot for its practical reasons!! always in my pocket an iphone is good but no replacement!
Lovely pictures! I really love the last one.
Congrats on the new camera.
Cheers,
Rosa
Nice, I’ve heard good things about this camera from other friends. I’m using my iPhone 5 as my carry-around camera now
Avalanche away! I love the pictures of the misty trees. Reminds me of when we are camping on our mountain.
Beautiful, I love the misty winter light!
So what’s the camera you got?
I linked to it in the text so if you click, you will discover it!
Hauntingly beautiful photos. Congrats on your new camera. I would like to get a new one very soon.
I love looking at great photos so click away!
Beautiful as always….I need to get a new camera as well….would you share with me what kind you just got for Christmas? Thank you, Ilva! Wishing you a wonderful day!
Oh, Ilva, your photos are always so gorgeous and I can’t fathom how you always manage it! Stunning! Happy New Year, darling!
Thanks for sharing Ilva. Love them. Beautiful.
I’m so impressed with these photographs, Ilva. I have always loved your photographic eye but these are stunning. Hurray for the new camera and your new-found enthusiasm for snapping photos on the go.
Happy New Year!
Thank you all of you, rest assured that I will keep on posting photos!
Boring that’s a laugh. Glorious yes.
Great minds think alike – Nick and I treated ourselves to a new compact this Christmas too – a new Canon Powershot 260 that fits in a pocket. So liberating! But it will never take the place of my 50D in my heart
I’d never tire of your photos. They are a model for me. Thanks and Happy New Year!
Love these photos – so peaceful! Happy New Year, my friend!
I think it is a pretty fantastic camera too!
Oooh!! These mist shots are stunning too. I can’t decide which is more thrilling, the mist or the dramatic clouds posted on 25 January.
That is indeed a great camera, but I’m reminded of a story I heard about a famous violinist who played on a Strad (I think I remember it was Heifetz??) after one of his recitals. A fan came back stage and exclaimed that his violin sounded wonderful. The violinist leaned over into the case, put his ear against the violin and said that it was funny, HE couldn’t hear anything.
(You really do know how to operate that lovely little camera. Many thanks for sharing your photos.)
