Purely food photography – more Instagram moments
Yes I am lazy, I should be doing things for Lucullian but instead I do other things. My problem is that once the blogging routine gets disturbed, I have big problems with getting back into that steady flow of posts, recipes and photos. I get distracted and fail to see the importance of blogging. Which on the one hand is completely right (I like stepping out in the world but above all I enjoy cooking for us, exploring recipes I see instead of thinking about blog-able stuff) but on the other, I miss out on the joys of blogging.
But this is the way it is right now, holidays now and September is all work and no play except the first week when we are going to Sicily) and that means recycling and few posts.
In addition to the instants I take of my world, I have started to post a food photo almost everyday on Instagram (I love Instagram, so visual and some people take the most amazing photos of what surrounds them), some of you probably have seen them there or on Facebook but this is for those of you who haven’t. I love the, umm, instantness of Instagram! And although I am not usually a fan of overprocessed photos, filters and effects, they seem to fit naturally with Instagram and I love playing with them. It is a whole other visual medium again (just “seeing” in square is a challenge!) and I love it. You show us what gorgeousness is possible within these constraints!
Amazing photos. It’s so different to choice the best one. Instangram is great, the special thing is your eyes on thing.
The second pics, the one of grapes, give me a strong nostalgic emotion. Thanks to come backt to my mind moments with my grandparents.

Hey hey – My problem is that I feel so guilty snapping the Instagram pics and have people comment on them, when I have just spent so much money on a new camera body! Ho hum ;o)

The images look wonderful. I just started using instragram and I love the app.
I like instagram and it’s idea – relatively good looking pictures made by the average guy about his live – a visual twitter … While I love your photography I would rather like to see the “behind the scenes” on instagram instead of processed DSLR photos.
But you know – the users make the medium – so good luck
