Swedish impressions part 2

stockholm dippy1

I have been to Stockholm to meet my childhood friend and we spent a fine afternoon talking and walking through the city and at the end I even remembered that I actually had brought the camera with me. I tend to forget that when the company is nice, I think it is because I usually only photograph alone.
So you can forget about those photos I promised from the party in the archipelago, I took a few photos in the beginning of the birthday girl and then I was completely immersed in talking to people I haven't seen for too many years. But I try to make up for my broken promise by posting some photos from the streets in the Old Town where you hardly see any people because it seems hat everyone just walk on the main street and ignore all the incredible places that you see if you just take a step up onto the narrow streets leading away from it.

  2. How beautiful, Ilva. I keep asking JP to take me to Sweden and he won't. He spent time there before we married and thinks that is enough :-( But it is so stunning! I'm glad you are having such a great time and getting the chance to see old friends. Miss you xo

  4. I love those old winding streets - so much atmosphere, ageless elegance and peace.

  5. I love Gamla stan. Soo happy that I used to work there for a year before my company moved to Söder. All those small streets and wonderful shops and gallerys...

  8. What beautiful streetscapes. I really like the ones where I feel that I could walk right in and turn the corner.

I have become the a bad blogger because I either forget or I don't have the time to answer your comments but that does not mean that I don't read or appreciate them, quite the opposite really. The generosity that shines through what you write and the fact that you take the time to comment on my posts makes my blogging worthwhile so Thank You for what you do for me and please keep on commenting!
