Blogger Postcards Around The World #2

Today's the day! Today is the day when I have trot off to the post office to send my post card towards its secret destination somewhere in the world! This the the second round of my friend Meeta's of What's For Lunch, Honey? Blogger Postcards Around The World and this time I have decided to participate because it's a small step towards understanding beyond borders and frontiers. Meeta has chosen Happy Valentine as theme and despite the fact that I don't like the commercialization of the event, it's all about the business' love for money in my eyes, I think love is a nice theme for an event like this. There are so many types of love, some more important than others but with more love and real respect around I really think that the world would be a better place. And yes, I know that I sound like an old hippie but that can't be helped, that's how I think. Love me or leave me - love is the theme of the day after all!
Given my principles (always getting in the way) and feelings about the commercial aspects of St Valentines Day, I obviously had to make my own card and I hope that the receiver will not think worse of it for being made here at my kitchen table!
Now I'm going to wait and wait for my card to arrive...
