PASTA RIFATTA or ‘RE-MADE’ PASTA

pasta-rifatta4

This is what an uninspired food blogger makes for lunch, pasta rifatta or re-made pasta. It’s actually very good albeit it’s high rating as boring according to this food blogger’s standards. This is not a creative period in my life, I have to confess that but I try to keep the grey cells active anyway. I love books with essays about food, that’s why I love Elizabeth David so much and she is the best remedy for me when I fall into this kind of moods even though I suspect that my lack of creativity in the kitchen has been triggered by other things that I just have to go through as it is a part of the process of sorrow. But she is lovely to read anyway, I have this copy of An Omelette and a Glass of Wine that I must have read at least 20 times throughout the years but I never tire of it, she always inspires me!
But there are several events coming up that I plan to participate in: first we have Angelika’s The Food Blogger’s Menu Meme that I want to do, then on the 16th of October we have Kochtopf’s World Bread Day and the 31st of this month is the last day for Food Destinations which this month is found over at Chocolate in Context and the destination is My Favourite Chocolote Shop, who can resist that?! Plus Weekend Herb Blogging of course…
