Kitchen Meme

I have been tagged by Superfujii – I love cooking to do this kitchen meme and now I have finally come around to do all the photos that it involves! Sorry, but better late than never as we say in Sweden… So here we go:






1) Show us your kitchen ( a picture) and tell us what is it about this place that reflects your own personality.

I would say that it is the chaos that shows that this is my kitchen. When you have a family of five and the kitchen is the most frequented space in the whole house, it is kind of inevitable that it becomes a bit chaotic and as I could not be described as a person with pedantic tendencies…
I keep my computer in the kitchen which is both a blessing and a curse! I listen a lot to radio via the web and I can check my mail whenever I want but on the other hand it’s too easy to remain there when I happen to pass by…




2) Open a cupboard (the one you feel to open), take a picture and tell us what we see.

This is the drawer where I keep pasta, different types of beans, polenta etc..




3) Present us your favorite kitchen-based household appliance.4) Take out the ingredients you like the most, the ones you always keep stored.5) My little steel friend: present us to your favorite cooking/baking recipient.

In this picture I have put together the answers to the three questions that you see above:

The household appliance that I use the most is the hand blender because it’s so easy to use for most of the things that I want to blend or chop very finely.

I have brought out some of the ingredients that I always keep at hand: capers, peperoncino, olives, coffee, dark chocolate, garlic and sun dried tomatoes.

And the recipient that I like the most is this oven proof pan or whatever it can be called because it’s big! I bake vegetables in it and it’s perfect for lasagna!

Now I pass on this kitchen meme to these food blogs in particular but I leave it open to everyone to take on the challenge!
